Our story

It started with one lawn and a push mower.

In 2000, Ryan Fiel was eighteen years old, mowing a single lawn to help pay for college. Twenty-six years later, Ryan's Landscaping runs three crews out of a shop on Deer Lake Road, employs about twenty people, and takes care of properties from downtown Boyne City to the far side of Lake Charlevoix.

What hasn't changed is what the business was built on: showing up when we said we would, doing the job properly, and keeping the same customers for decades.

Why us

Why people keep calling us back.

The same faces, year after year.

Several of our crew leaders have been here eight, ten, even eleven seasons. Your property gets people who already know it.

We're big enough to actually show up.

Three crews, our own trucks and equipment, and a full-time mechanic keeping all of it running.

One company, all four seasons.

Spring cleanups, summer mowing, fall trims, winter plowing. One number to call.

We live here too.

We maintain the ball field in East Jordan, plant the flower boxes downtown, and sponsor the Polish Festival. This is our community, not our territory.
